Sol Manager is a source file and configuration settings management tool.
It's important to note that Sol Manager is currently under heavy development and as a result, it may lack certain features and functionalities. To use the tool, users must have certain requirements installed including Mono and Gtk# runtime.
Recent updates to Sol Manager have introduced several new features and resolved several issues such as the addition of the command-line utility solgen which allows users to generate output without running the GUI. Additionally, strictness of C++ options has been revised, and support for escape characters and quoted strings has been added to the macro processor. Sol Manager now also includes CodeBlocks IDE support and build event properties for C++ configurations.
Other new features include the "Build workspace" and "Validate workspace" toolbar buttons for faster access, recently used files list, and .NET framework and Gtk# installer download links in win32 installer. Sol Manager now also stores settings in the "Application Data" directory, which is the correct location.
Minor issues have also been resolved with project dependencies being ordered incorrectly in some cases and the properties editor not restoring correctly after showing editor dialog. To improve user experience, a special case of text editor has been added for multiline properties, while the list editor dialog has been initialized with a more suitable default window size.
Overall, Sol Manager is a powerful software tool that provides users with a flexible and user-friendly way of managing source files and configuration settings. With the recent updates, it's evident that the software is continually advancing towards better functionality and usability.
