SoundRecEd provides a simple GUI to record and edit sound files, similar to operating a tape-deck. Buttons start and stop recording, or break incoming audio into separate files.

SoundRecEd allows you to cut sections from audio file, or join files and you can also save files in MP3, WAV or OGG audio format.
