SpambusterReply software allows you to control which senders can access your mailbox by either allowing or disallowing them, ensuring greater security and protection against unwanted emails.
To set it up, you have to create two mail rules. The first rule is responsible for checking if a sender is unknown in your address book or previous recipients list, and whether the subject line contains a particular password. If all conditions are met, the message is moved to the trash folder or junk folder.
The second mail rule checks if a sender is not known in your address book or previous recipients list, but the subject line of the email contains your password. If all conditions are met, the spambusterReply script is executed.
If executed, the user is shown a dialog box that displays the sender's request for access to your mailbox. In this dialog box, the user must select one of two options: allow the request and send a confirmation email, adding the sender to previous recipients, or treat the email as spam and bounce it back to the sender.
In summary, SpambusterReply is an efficient way to keep your mailbox spam-free. With its simple setup process and clear user interface, it's a valuable tool for anyone looking to maintain their mailbox's cleanliness.
