SpeakTime is an OS X software that provides a speaking clock feature. It announces time intervals and can be customized for different languages and voices. The user can choose to have the clock speak at regular intervals or on demand.
One of the standout features of SpeakTime is its ability to announce any number of custom phrases at user-specified times and dates. This feature can be customized further with options for voice and volume.
The latest release of SpeakTime brings some exciting changes. Firstly, it is now available as a Universal Binary, making it even more accessible to users. Additionally, the software now supports Growl notifications, which is a great addition. A previously annoying bug with announcements being reset on sleep has also been fixed, making the software even more reliable.
Another great feature that I appreciated is the ability to have desktop clocks of up to 256 pixels in size. This, coupled with a variety of new clock options that have been added, makes the software even more user-friendly. Any older clocks that may no longer be in use can be found in a folder called 'Older Clocks' in the SpeakTime Styles folder.
Overall, I found SpeakTime to be a great addition to my Mac. With its customizable features and easy-to-use interface, it is definitely worth checking out.
