SQLBalance automates the comparison and synchronization of SQL databases, eliminating the need for manual labor. It highlights differences in structure and scripts, and offers a one-click solution for efficient synchronization. A valuable tool for Database Administrators.
SQLBalance solves this problem by comparing databases, highlighting differences, and synchronizing them automatically. It analyzes database content line by line and object by object, searching for differences in database structure or content. Once any differences are found, they are highlighted for easy identification.
The distinct object information is displayed in a table and as a DDL script for ease of understanding. The two panels feature all database entries side by side, and then the databases are synchronized. The software offers two ways to do this: object by object, which takes more time but offers more control, or the entire database synchronization with just one mouse click via the generated DDL script.
All changes to the databases are logged, so administrators can always look back to see how the database was modified. SQLBalance requires very low system resources and disk space, and it is incredibly fast.
At a cost of 120 dollars per copy, SQLBalance pays for itself and saves companies money. This is especially critical since, as of 2003, the average pay for a Database Administrator in the United States was $28.53 an hour.
