This software is an open-source SSH content analysis tool designed for command-line use, enabling users to analyze and review data sets in a secure and straightforward manner. The tool's feature set includes performance optimization, content caching, and error detection, making it a useful tool for professionals dealing with large amounts of SSH data.
To make things simple, sshkeydata makes use of comparison approach between SSH and telnet sessions. Simply input the captured SSH and telnet sessions from the same user and sshkeydata does the rest. It compares details from the known telnet session with details from the unknown SSH session to estimate the commands typed.
The process is not complicated at all. First, chaosreader is executed on the dump files which generates keydata files including keystroke delays and other details from the sessions. Then sshkeydata will be run on the keydata files to estimate which of the original commands within the SSH session are given.
sshkeydata software stands out for its ability to estimate original commands despite the encryption involved in SSH sessions. You can be assured of getting valuable insights and valuable information that was previously hidden. Its user-friendly interface is also a plus for those who are starting to explore software solutions in this category.
