SurfShopPRO is a user-friendly and robust e-commerce software.
But that's not all! Your web host also needs to meet certain requirements. You'll need a Unix-based web hosting account (Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, BSD, etc.) that allows the execution of custom CGIs, SMTP mail (sendmail, qmail, etc.), and user FTP access with permission-setting privileges. While SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption is strongly recommended, it is not required. Your web server must also have Perl 5.8.2 or later, plus the latest default CPAN modules. And if you plan on integrating with certain payment processor systems such as PayPal IPN and AuthorizeNet AIM, your web server must have the LWP::UserAgent and Net::SSLeay perl modules installed. Finally, if you intend to use a MySQL database, your web server must have the Perl DBI module and either the DBD::mSQL or DBD::mysql module installed.
If you meet all of those requirements, you'll be ready to take advantage of the new features available in SurfShopPRO's latest release. Bugs have been fixed, and more sorting options have been added in the admin section. You now have the choice of showing the viewcart page or staying on the current page when adding an item to the cart. Members can be seen at a glance, and there's even a minimum quantity feature for products ordered. So if you're in need of an e-commerce solution, give SurfShopPRO a try.
