T-Sim is a helicopter simulation software for GNU/Linux in its preliminary version. It is designed to mimic real-life helicopter flying, allowing users to practice their skills in a virtual environment.
The software comes equipped with some controls, such as N to increase throttle, B to decrease it, V to move the collective up, and C to move it down. Moreover, users can use keys like W, X, and the arrow keys to move the cyclic, and F10 to switch to cockpit view, F11 for instrument view, and F12 for the external view. Users can also look around with the F1 to F4 keys and zoom in and out using F5 and F6 in the external view.
Furthermore, users also have the option to drag the helicopter using the A, Z, E, R, T, and Y keys. Lastly, they can use the Enter button to exit the simulation.
To run T-Sim, users need to install cmake, SDL, and OpenGL. The software is easy to compile using the command 'cmake . && make', and once the compilation is done, users can run it with './T-Sim'. Overall, T-Sim is a fantastic and user-friendly helicopter simulator that users can try out in their free time.
