This software tool assists teaching assistants in their tasks, providing support with scripting capabilities.
For every student in the file, the hand-ins entry is a list. If a student's hand-in was accepted, True is listed. If the hand-in was rejected, False is listed, and if the hand-in was not received, the script uses ~ to indicate this on the list. However, to make sure lists are of the same length, the script fills in any gaps with ~ at the end.
To use tah, run the script with the --dry-run option to preview what reminders it will send out. Then, without the option, run the script again to send the actual reminders.
In summary, Tah is a time-saving tool for teaching assistants who need to remind their students about hand-ins. The script operates seamlessly, taking account of differences between accepted, rejected, and missing hand-ins. And with two simple steps, the script can generate and send reminders with ease.
