With intuitive palette design, access to Task Viewer, pop-up list for clients and frequently used tasks, email HTML invoice tables and time sheets, or export as HTML, ability to run in background mode and assign tasks at a later time, and job memory auto-fills dialog based on previous work assignments, TaskCapture surpasses expectations.
TaskCapture also provides flexibility by allowing you to add any application to the tracking list, added customization capabilities on reports and invoices, including logo, ability to edit captured tasks in Task Viewer, and the ability to set any date and time for tasks.
TaskCapture also easily integrates with QuickBooks service items, clients (Windows only), iCalendar on Mac, or Outlook Express on Windows. With simple installation provided, TaskCapture is easy to install and use. Pop-up menus remember document characteristics so that you do not need to retype, and users can use different "skins" for a customized look and feel (Windows only).
Finally, with TaskCapture's hand reporting and export functions, users can sort jobs by date range, client, job number, and other combinations. Exports to tab or comma-separated text file, and direct emailing of eVoices™ is made possible.
Overall, the software has excellent functionality, ease of use, and provides incredible efficiency for time tracking. The platform's primary limitation is the 10-day trial period. The latest release has even improved performance with the new timing method, which reduces TaskCapture CPU usage while other apps are busy.
