Tavli3d is a Greek adaptation of backgammon developed in OpenGL/SDL software.
Upon running the software, I was presented with several options including -d directory for specifying a home directory. However, as the option has no significant function except for debugging purposes, I did not utilize it. I also found that -h for help, -v for version, and -l for license information were available for easy access.
Should any problems arise when running the program, it is suggested to manually create the directory $(HOME)/.3dtavli and the file $(HOME)/.3dtavli/options, where the home directory should be specified in place of $(HOME). The options file should contain three lines, with the first being either a 0 or 1 to indicate fullscreen or not, the second being a number from 0 to 5 for resolution, and the third being empty. Any other input will cause problems.
One notable requirement for Tavli3d is libSDL. Additionally, the software has undergone some changes to configure.ac, solving the issue of compilation under modular Xorg.
Overall, I enjoyed playing Tavli3d and appreciated the ability to easily access help, version, and license information. While some technical setup may be necessary, the game itself is a smooth and entertaining experience.
