TCstripper is a software that detects potentially harmful Type and Creator codes within files, alerting users to the presence of potential trojan horses.
With TCstripper, users can conveniently check their files in bulk. This tool offers the ability to drag and drop multiple files, folders, and nested folders for scanning. Users can easily identify suspicious files and choose to trash them or deactivate the inappropriate Type and Creator information. By doing so, users can safely open their files without worrying about hidden code execution, such as within the ID3 tags of MP3 files.
Among the new features in the latest release of TCstripper are the ability to process nested folders, trash files, and skip files. The software also now offers a Quit dialog, making it easier for users to exit the program smoothly. Additionally, a ReadMe file has been added to provide clear instructions for first-time users.
