TeamPlanner stores events for teams and individuals, simplifying the organization of groups.
Among the requirements for TeamPlanner is to use nothing but the Qt library version 4.1.1. Hence, having support for XML and PNG are mandatory from Qt. The software will not compile with any earlier version; however, it might compile well with later versions. To ensure a smooth installation, users are required to install the Qt library version 4.1.1 first in a directory of their choice i.e. /usr/local/qt411. Once installed, users can proceed to unpack the TeamPlanner archive where they can then run the following commands without experiencing any issues:
$ export QTDIR=/usr/local/qt411
$ export PATH=$QTDIR/bin:$PATH
$ qmake
$ make release (or if you want a debug version, run "make debug")
Once the installation process is complete, users can then have access to a self-contained executable named "TeamPlanner".
In this release, the software is not complete, but it is already usable. Users can look forward to utilizing the features that have been incorporated into the platform. Its efficient categorization tools will enable users to keep their schedules updated and organised with ease.
