TelCLI is a TELNET client that operates via command-line interface and is compatible with Windows systems.
This software is simple and easy to use, requiring little to no technical expertise on the part of the user. Additionally, users can define custom scenarios that can be executed by TelCLI.
One of the most impressive features of TelCLI is its support for automated tasks defined in scenario scripts. Users can execute scenarios defined in scenario files that are text files consisting of the following sections and parameters.
The scenario files consist of action lines, which are divided into two types - 'Send' and 'Wait' actions. The 'Send' action type sends User-defined strings to the remote host by appending a carriage return to the string. The 'Wait' action type waits for a user-defined string to be sent by the remote host.
Users have the option to display or hide sent or received strings by setting the last field of the action definition to either 'yes' or 'no'. Additionally, users can use the username and password specified in the command line as variables in action definitions, streamlining the overall process.
Overall, TelCLI provides a reliable and efficient solution for automated TELNET connections, meeting the needs and expectations of users.
