Tk Ecasound is a user interface for the audio software Ecasound that is written in Tcl/Tk. It provides a graphical front-end for managing audio tasks including recording, mixing, and effects processing.

To use Tk Ecasound, you'll need Tcl/Tk and Ecasound, as well as a soundcard with OSS/ALSA drivers. Optional features include LADSPA, Jack, and Ecawave.
In the latest release, Tk Ecasound has expanded the main window, effects window and options window components to fit all available space. The tracks header has been eliminated, and track volume controls have been maxed out at 400. Bugs have been fixed, effect windows show track names instead of numbers, and certain buttons are disabled after the "Play" button is pressed. The "Stop" button is now included in effect windows.
