This software allows users to create fake duplicates of files, folders, and other data with ease.
With Touvaly, you can create a pseudo copy of your file, which is essentially a file with all of the same attributes as the original file, such as the creation date, modification date, type, creator, name, and more, but with empty contents. This is a great way to save space while still being able to keep track of your files.
To use Touvaly, all you need to do is drag a folder, CD, or volume on top of the Touvaly application icon in the Finder or the main window. Touvaly will then prompt you to navigate to the destination of the pseudo copy. Once you choose the destination, Touvaly will immediately begin to traverse the folder, creating pseudo copies of all the files it finds.
By default, Touvaly quits when it's done. However, you can use the "Preferences..." menu item in the Touvaly menu to turn this option off. Overall, if you're in need of a lightweight and easy-to-use utility for creating pseudo copies of your files and folders, Touvaly is definitely worth checking out.
