transKode is a GUI interface for audio transcoding tools, built on KDE/Qt technologies.
To use transKode, the user must have amaroK 1.3 and TagLib 1.4 installed. FAAC/FAAD, FLAC, GStreamer, LAME, Monkey's Audio Port, MPlayer, Musepack, OGG Vorbis, and Speex are optional dependencies that the user can choose to install.
In this release, transKode has fixed various bugs, including a bug that prevented Amarok TTMD from finishing if there was a transcoding error. Additionally, the software has improved the decoding and encoding processes priority settings which were previously not correctly applied.
