Trivi Lite is a quick and easy-to-use trivia bot designed for IRC using Perl. It enables users to engage in fast-paced trivia games.
When it comes to usage, the bot can be operated in a simple way - just type "./trivi_lite.pl" to launch it. The program has already been set to executable mode, so no further steps are required.
In terms of configuration, there is the option for users to manually edit the trivi_lite.cfg file. This includes the ability to select the server to connect to and the nickname to use. It must be noted that users should not modify the configuration file using comments or by any other means as there is currently no way to check its integrity.
Alternatively, it is also possible to run trivi_lite.pl using command-line arguments. This includes the server, port, nickname, and channel that a user would like to use. For example, typing "./trivi_lite.pl irc.oftc.net 6667 TriviaBot #trivia4linux" would connect to the given server with a specified nickname and channel.
