TubeTwist is a game where players become an assistant to a time-traveling professor. Through exciting experiments and puzzles, players learn the secrets of time travel.
At the heart of the game is the goal of constructing a machine that will guide the professors' famous Macroton devices from their starting positions to a final reactor tube where their energy will be extracted and stored for later use. This is no easy feat - over thirty different tubes of various shapes and sizes must be combined to complete the machines, and you'll encounter all kinds of obstacles along the way such as spirals, switches, anti-gravity devices, twisty turns, and precipitous drops.
But don't worry - the game comes with 80 unique and challenging experiments spread out over 5 exotic locations that serve as part of the main story. TubeTwist takes inspiration from beloved puzzle games like The Incredible Machine and Mouse Trap, which means that each experiment has many solutions thanks to the large variety of tubes which can be used to construct each machine.
One thing that sets TubeTwist apart from other puzzle games is that there is no clock or score to keep track of. Instead, you can sit back and enjoy the mind-bending fun that comes with trying to solve each puzzle. Of course, if you're feeling competitive, you can always try to beat your best time or find more efficient solutions to each experiment.
As far as system requirements go, you'll need a G4 Processor (recommended), 64 MB RAM, and an OpenGL Compatible 3D Graphics Accelerator. With those specs, you'll be able to enjoy the immersive graphics and engaging gameplay that make TubeTwist such a standout puzzle game.
