UEFtrans is a Python script that lets you edit the contents of Unified Emulator Format files with ease.
This script is suitable for users of all machines with a Python interpreter. It essentially empowers users with several features, including the ability to provide information on the creator and the intended machine for the files. Users can also catalog files stored in an archive, append files, and even insert and remove chunks from existing archives. Additionally, it enables users to extract data to a directory in standard archive formats.
UEFtrans also allows users to create new UEF files, create a WWW page containing information, and list out the chunks that comprise the archive. The software requirements are basic since all that you need is Python.
The latest UEFtrans release comes with a few major bug fixes, including updates such as UEF file version information reporting to info and wwwinfo commands. The keyboard layout issue associated with the new command has also been resolved, making it easier to work with the script.
