Rangers fans can now follow their favorite club from within their browser with the launch of the team's own official browser - the first of its kind in the UK.
Rangers have launched their own official browser, making them the first UK club to do so. This unique browser experience allows fans to update their Firefox browser with Club branding, with availability on Internet Explorer coming in the near future. Rangers fans will be able to enjoy exclusive multimedia content from the recently updated www.rangers.co.uk through a small download called a Boom!, which does more than just provide a visual takeover of the browser. Users can access breaking news through the integrated toolbar, multimedia in the sidebar, and easy access to all things Rangers.
The club respects users' privacy when using the browser, with only non-personally identifiable data being tracked such as the total number of active themes, clicks on extension buttons, and search partner themes. The browser is compatible with the top 50 most popular and recent extensions, and users can email [email protected] if they encounter any conflicts.
Although Brand Thunder hates to see users go, they provide two ways to uninstall the browser extension; users can either remove it from the Extensions tab in Addons, or select Uninstall from the B/T button on the far right of the toolbar while running the Boom (Extension).
