This software provides a patch for UK PC keyboards on Apple Mac computers running OS X operating system, making it easier for users to type using their preferred keyboard layout.
Installation is straightforward, but make sure you remove any conflicting software – such as DoubleCommand, iJect, uControl, or PowerDelete – before starting. Once you've done that, open Finder and navigate to the Library folder on your Mac's startup volume.
If there's a StartupItems folder, drop the UKPCKeyboard folder into it. You'll find the UKPCKeyboard folder in the StartupItems folder on the distributed disk image. If there's no StartupItems folder, simply add the whole StartupItems folder from the distributed disk image directly into the Library folder.
No matter which option you take, you should end up with the following directory hierarchy: /Library/StartupItems/UKPCKeyboard. Finally, restart your computer and you're good to go!
