UVConverter is a Vietnamese encoding converter that uses command-line interface. It can convert different types of Vietnamese encoding into a universal format.
To start using UVConverter, simply compile the source code by running the command "make." After the compilation, a generated executable file named "uvconvert/uvconv" will be available for use. To add more charsets, the user needs to see the instructions provided in "vnconv/data.cpp."
Using UVConverter is also easy as the user only needs to use the command "uvconv [file] [OPTIONS]." The user can provide an input file in the argument or use default settings to input data using the keyboard. The tool also provides several command-line options, including but not limited to, printing Help and exit, specifying input charset, specifying output charset, printing charset list and exit, and setting VIQR character options.
For example, to convert a file named in.txt from the VNI charset to the UTF-8 charset and write it to a file named out.txt, the user only needs to type "uvconv in.txt -f VNI -t UTF-8 -o out.txt." However, the user needs to be aware that if there are VIQR sequences present in the document and the user tries to convert it to VIQR, the resulting output may be undesirable. To avoid this, the user can quickly disable this behavior by setting the option "-m."
Overall, UVConverter is a versatile, useful, and efficient tool that any user can use to convert Vietnamese texts quickly and easily.
