viriHTMLCoder converts plain text into decimal coded text for easy integration into HTML pages.
This latest release of ViriHTMLCoder includes fixes for minor bugs and marks the first universal binary release. While a few minor bugs in the error checking routine have been fixed in version 1.4.1, version 1.4 offers new features that include improved support for 16-bit Unicode characters, better error handling, and minor bug fixes. The previous version, 1.3, included added hex coding and mixed hex and dec coding, as well as error/format checking during HTML to text conversion.
The first public release, version 1.2, provided users with an essential tool for converting plain text to decimal coded text. The application distribution used PackageMaker, and limits Unicode as character code to 65535 = 4 Byte Unicode. Users should be aware that although this is the first universal binary release, the developer does not own an Intel Mac, and any potential problems on an Intel Mac should be brought to their attention. Thank you for using ViriHTMLCoder, and enjoy its many features.
