VisualCommander provides a way to visualize complex data, interface with hardware or simulations, and control your systems in a revolutionary way.
The software seamlessly integrates all captured data into a unified data hierarchy, making it easy to analyze and visualize the information. VisualCommander works by connecting data sources to the VisualCommander server using data source plugins. Further data analysis can be performed with data processor plugins, while display plugins enable users to visualize data with ease.
VisualCommander doesn't provide the data itself, but rather captures it via plugin modules designed specifically for the systems to which they connect. These plugins are written in C++ using an included Xcode template and can be added to VisualCommander by any user. Additionally, VisualCommander includes a full-featured simulation engine, DSim, which can simulate complex physical models, and light-weight data generation can be achieved within the software using Data Processors.
Data visualization is easy with VisualCommander, with "Interface" documents providing one or more windows dedicated to data display. Data displays are elements that are drawn in these windows, showing data in specific ways, such as basic numeric value, 2 and 3 dimensional plots, and even full-scale "virtual reality" displays. Users can build their own interface documents and displays, allowing for unlimited flexibility in data visualization.
Key features of VisualCommander include hardware control, data acquisition, simulation, telemetry and command, and visualization. However, the software is limited to a 30-day trial.
