Bemused is a Bluetooth-enabled software that enables remote music collection control via mobile devices.
One of the key features of Bemused is the ability to browse your music collection on your phone. You can play files in any format that Winamp supports, including MP3s, CDs, MIDIs, and more. Additionally, you can control the Winamp versions 2, 3, and 5, Windows Media Player, and even PowerPoint Viewer. You have complete control over fundamental features like pause, stop, rewind, fast-forward, and more. You can add songs to the playlist, use shuffle and repeat functions, browse and select songs in your playlist, and even download songs to your phone.
Another great feature is that you can customize the look of the system with skins. This feature allows you to make the interface more fun and engaging without compromising functionality.
In the latest release, Bemused has added some exciting new features, including a new version of the German localization by Ozan Sambur. There's also a fix for a potential PowerPoint crash, and Bemused has added the ability to get the current volume on startup (Winamp 2 or 5 only). Additionally, pesky bugs have been removed such as fixing the bug where the song title would be wrong after a playlist repeating, getting current song time with Winamp 5, and a crash when pressing the play button while using PowerPoint without presentation loaded. The handling of comms errors in the Bemused server has also been improved.
Overall, Bemused is an excellent system that provides a wide range of features and functionalities while ensuring an engaging interface. It's a must-have for anyone who wants to have complete control over their music collection using their phone.
