Webanalyse is a PHP 4-based software that provides traffic statistics for websites. Its main function is to gather and analyze data on the traffic of a website, such as page views, keywords, and referrals.
Installing Webanalyse is a breeze. All you need to do is upload the folder (which can be renamed) to the root directory, create a new folder named "log" with CHMOD 777 (the log files are written in this), then add two lines of code to each page you want to analyze. For example, if you want to track access to a consultation page, simply add the two lines of code to the page.
A recent update has made Webanalyse even better. The latest version includes improvements to the panel of configuration, a multilingual module (with support for French, Dutch, English, Spanish, and Bulgarian), two modes of display (general or detailed), integration of PHPCalendar for better navigation, and the ability to define the number of results visible in the Top listing. You can also define a ranking by year, month, or day in the Top listing, block a list of IP addresses, and automatically check if a new release is available.
The Sarah King module is included in this release, providing better management of the total time of navigation like the detail of navigation, unique visitor tracking, and country management. The data processing is improved in this release, as the old version took too much time to list the history ("serialisation" is back), and the graph is significantly faster. There are also several bug fixes, including one for the calendar with a selected date, the percentage of result, and logging visitors with uniqid and cookies for better counting.
Overall, Webanalyse is a solid choice for anyone looking to analyze website traffic. You'll get detailed reports, easy installation, and helpful features that can help you monitor your site's performance.
