This software enables applications to utilize IMAP server features.
Since wodImapServer is a COM object and not the full application, there are a few things developers should be aware of. For example, COM objects cannot deal with information that should be preserved between sessions, so it's important to keep UID information for folders and messages if you want wodImapServer to work flawlessly with any client that connects to it.
On each client action, wodImapServer will fire an appropriate event where you can internally handle the action and return a positive or negative result. It's also important to deal with message flags, as wodImapServer doesn't deal with message storage - you should do it yourself.
While wodImapServer will deal with structures and references to folders and messages, the actual contents of messages cannot be handled by wodImapServer. Instead, it will depend on your code when messages are accessed, so make sure you've provided properly formatted messages and proper flag information. If you don't, wodImapServer won't complain, but IMAP clients may run into issues.
