If the encrypted files are being stored separately, it offers perfect security (the encryption is unbreakable).
To encrypt a file, click the Encrypt button and select a file. The file's data will be encrypted and written to two files of equal size with the extensions ".encrypted.1" and ".encrypted.2".
To decrypt a file, click the Decrypt button and select an encrypted file. The file names have to have the extensions ".1" and ".2".
Files will be written to the same folder as the originals. Existing files will be overwritten.
