WMD SWAG is a software that rapidly analyzes disaster site observations and predicts the likely agents of mass destruction involved. The tool allows users to mark checkboxes next to observed conditions and view instant results.
To unlock and register the full software, users must install the trial version and purchase a registration key from Arkansoft. Both handheld and Windows versions are available, and they share the same data files through a 2-way HotSync conduit.
Using the software is very easy, as users only need to mark checkboxes beside any conditions they observe in the field. After doing so, they can view the results screen and receive an instant listing of likely agents involved. If users wish to keep a record of their observations, they can do so by saving them along with notes about what they've seen.
Another useful feature WMD SWAG provides is an Autocaps option, which capitalizes words as they are entered. This eliminates the need to switch cases manually. In addition, the handheld version of the software can print reports via the IR port or serial cables, while the Windows version can generate reports that can be edited and printed from Microsoft Word or any word processor.
Lastly, BioChem 1stRespondER - a database of 30 germ and chemical weapons - can integrate with handheld WMD SWAG. It lists recommended first aid procedures, drugs, dosages, lab tests, etc. This allows users to quickly hop back and forth between WMD SWAG and BioChem without passing through the handheld's main menu.
