wodVPN is a software component that helps to create a secure VPN connection between two peers. It offers encryption for all P2P communication and allows users to forward local and remote ports, send messages and more.
In addition to being able to forward local and remote ports and send messages, wodVPN also utilizes UDP packets to transfer data between peers. This approach allows for several techniques to establish a direct NAT 2 NAT connection between peers, thereby permitting seamless and reliable communication.
If a direct connection is not possible, wodVPN can also function as a relay between other instances, ensuring that you can still establish VPN connections when direct communication is not possible. Moreover, all packets are encrypted via AES128, using a password of your choice, providing unbreakable security.
There are many ways to use wodVPN to enhance your online experience. For example, you can connect to your SQL server through the VPN (which is mapped through your local port), or share pictures, documents, and files securely. Finally, the software also lets you offer a "remote desktop" feature through the VPN, and virtually any service that uses TCP or UDP can be mapped to work over wodVPN. Ultimately, if you need a safe, user-friendly VPN ActiveX component, wodVPN comes highly recommended.
