WxExtLib is a C++ library designed to extend the wxWidgets cross-platform UI library, providing additional functionality for developers.
This latest release of WxExtLib comes with important upgrades and new features. Small changes were made to make it work better with new wxWidgets versions, and to integrate it more seamlessly with WinXP. The WxExtLibConfig has been completely reorganized as well.
In terms of new features, the wxWindowAdder class has been added, as well as the wxOverlayAdder and wxNonModalDialogManag. Refactoring was also done from wxExtDialog to wxExtDlgBase, making the library more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
In terms of code updates, the StatusValidators source code was converted to use generic includes instead of macros which improves its overall performance. Additionally, the wxTextCtrlStatusValidator now works with wxChoice, wxListBox, and wxComboBox controls.
Finally, it's worth noting that this version of WxExtLib has also added a variant of WxMessageFormat to work with std::string. This is a great new addition to the library for those who work with C++. Overall, WxExtLib is a robust and reliable library that offers plenty of extensions and features to make it worthwhile for any programmer.
