xstat: software displaying file status items.
Installing xstat is easy, and you have a couple of different options to choose from. First, you can use the command "sudo ./installer" from the directory where the program is stored. Alternatively, you can simply copy the xstat file to your desired destination folder, along with the man page if you'd like to install that as well.
One thing that's nice about xstat is that it's highly customizable when it comes to installation paths. If you want to change the default install location, all you need to do is give the installer the path you want to use as an argument. For example, "sudo ./installer /usr" will install the software to /usr instead of the default /usr/local location.
