Users should note that XyVue runs in their default web browser. Due to this, the applet is signed with a certification from Thawte, the second largest Certification Authority worldwide. To use XyVue, users must have a browser that is Safari 1.2.4 or higher (not Firefox on Mac OS X). Additionally, users must have an operating system of Mac OS X version 10.3 or 10.4 with Java 1.4.2 or higher. A minimum of 128 MB memory is required, and 384 MB or more is recommended. Finally, a minimum 600 MHz PowerPC G3 processor and a display resolution of minimum 1024 x 768 are also necessary.
