yaLCD is a client for LCDproc that shows system info.
One of the best things about yaLCD is that it's very versatile. You can customize the software to show exactly what you need/want to see. For example, you can add screens such as an ACPI/battery screen, a big clock and uptime screen, and even RSS, POP3 or IMAP screens. You can also write directly to the display using the FIFO function.
This latest release of yaLCD also introduces a config dialog, which makes the customization even easier. The dialog should support almost all display sizes, so you won't have any trouble setting things up the way you want. If you're looking for a reliable and versatile software that can help you view system information on an LC display, yaLCD is definitely worth trying out.
