ZoneIdeas is a PHP5-based software designed to aid in organizing and evaluating ideas within a company, group, or personal use.
If you plan to use ZoneIdeas on your computer, you can check the XAMPP package. To install ZoneIdeas, follow these steps: download a zip package that contains ZoneIdeas source files from the provided link, unzip the package, and select a directory of your choice on your webserver. Next, create a new database for ZoneIdeas on your MySQL server, which can be achieved through phpMyAdmin, CPanel, or by contacting your hosting provider to create it for you.
After creating a database, open the settings.php file in your preferred text editor and fill in the necessary fields with information from your MySQL account: define the host name as "localhost," the database name as "zoneideas," the database user as "root," and leave the database password blank. If using ZoneIdeas on a shared hosting server, acquire the required information from your hosting provider.
Next, create all the necessary database tables by executing the sql_schema.sql file. Finally, access the directory on your webserver where ZoneIdeas is located with your browser. For example, if ZoneIdeas is located in the root directory of your local machine, enter the address into your browser. Please note that ZoneIdeas requires both a running webserver and MySQL to function properly.
