DOSBox 0.72 MS-DOS emulator is now available in a Mac-compatible version providing users with the ability to run older MS-DOS programs on their Mac computers.
Boxer is a software that aims to make DOS emulation effortless and configuration-free. Emulating DOS games has been challenging because they lack an equivalent to console ROM files. Boxer is a universal binary and has been thoroughly tested on Intel Macs running OS X 10.5. Note that 10.4.11 is supported, but it has not been thoroughly tested; thus, it may have bugs. Additionally, earlier versions of OS X are unsupported and unlikely to work correctly. Overall, Boxer is an excellent software for anyone looking to play DOS games on their Mac without the hassle of configuration.
