The recommended way to use Calq is to add it to your account preferences as a startup item. You can also initiate Calq by double-clicking the icon. Once you start Calq, you will be greeted with a welcome message before the preferences window pops up. Here, you can personalize the settings according to your preferences. Once you've set up your preferences, click "OK" and you will notice that nothing appears to happen as the icon doesn't appear in the dock. Rest assured, Calq is now quietly sitting in the background, waiting to be activated.

To use Calq, simply activate it using a hotkey combination. Once activated, a small window will appear, allowing you to do calculations quickly through the keyboard. The window will remain open as long as keyboard activity is detected. If no action is detected for a few seconds, Calq will hide until it is activated again. Additionally, Calq will immediately hide when another application is activated, ensuring it is not in the way. Overall, Calq is a simple-to-use and useful calculator application.
