Emnu is a proof-of-concept menu software for the KDE desktop environment. Its development was completed at aKademy.
One feature that immediately stood out to me was the ability to drag and drop files and desktop shortcuts directly into the start menu. This makes accessing frequently used files much more efficient than other menu options.
Another notable feature was the option to drop the quick launcher and panel buttons. This streamlines the interface and makes it easier to navigate through the menu.
While the software is still in the concept phase, some of the code was taken from baghira sidebar and xkmenu. And while it may not be perfectly polished, it is clear that the developers have put in a lot of effort to create something unique and functional.
Overall, I found Emnu to be a promising concept that provides a more efficient and streamlined approach to accessing files and programs. It will be exciting to see how it develops in the future.
