This software displays recent messages from ezboard or Yuku in a concise and organized way.
This software application displays recent messages from either an Ezboard or Yuku message board, making it easy to stay up-to-date with community discussions. The interface presents several columns of information: topic, number of replies, number of views (displayed only for applicable message boards), last comment by (also known as last post by), last comment time (also known as last post time), and topic starter (also known as started by).
To tailor the user experience, the Preferences window allows for customization of several options. The URL of the message board can be configured, as well as the number of recent topics to display. Users may also choose which columns to show and select preferred colors, fonts, and background and logo opacity. There are several pre-set background and logo colors (such as light pink, light blue, and dark blue) available, and "colorize" settings for the rows are also customizable. The same "colorize" settings for the header row can be applied to the logo graphic. Login and password information can also be entered for easy access.
Clicking on a topic title brings the user directly to the last page of replies to that topic, facilitating easy navigation. One can also customize the logo position and size, placing it in any corner of the screen. Double-clicking the logo minimizes or expands the message list, and the same can be achieved by clicking on the minus and plus images. Double-clicking the title brings the user to the URL of the message board, and one can also visit the message board via the context menu.
As an added feature, to see the "Last Updated" time, simply hover the cursor over the logo. The only requirement for this software is the Yahoo! Widget Engine. With its customizable options, this software remains a solid choice for anyone looking to stay connected with their online communities.
