hmount

The hmount project is a software interface designed specifically for mounting and unmounting hot-plugged devices through HAL. Installation of hmount package is straightforward; simply navigate to the directory containing the source code and run the `./configure` command to configure the program to fit your particular system specifications. This step may take some time to complete, with running configure printing status messages detailing which features are being checked. Once configured, proceed to run the `make` command to compile the package.

If desired, `make check` can be used to run any self-tests that come with the package. Once the tests are passed, run `make install` to install the programs, including data files and documentation. After installation, it is possible to remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by running `make clean`. In turn, to remove configuration files created during installation, `make distclean` can be run.

This release of hmount includes a variety of updates and improvements. Notably, hal and hal_storage detection have been fixed, and new HAL rules have been adopted. In addition, smaller output is provided in non-verbose mode.
