The latest version of the iPod Updater, released on September 23, 2005, includes the new iPod Software 1.1.2 specifically for the iPod shuffle. However, for all other iPod models, the software versions remain the same as the previous release, iPod Updater 2005-09-06.
The update addresses some bug fixes for the iPod shuffle. The software requirements vary depending on the model of your iPod. For the iPod nano, you will need a Macintosh or Windows PC with a USB port, with USB 2.0 recommended.
