KGliv is a straightforward OpenGL-based Image viewer.
KGliv is a simple image viewer built on top of OpenGL which boasts of a reusable sublying class for developers. Please note that this is a preview release and the library API is not yet completely fixed, with possible changes to the "move" parameter spectrum. The library documentation and tutorial are incomplete, as is the application documentation. Furthermore, the code needs some cleanup.
It's important to note that the image viewer is merely a demo app intended to give developers an idea of what could be done with the GLView Widget. It's not meant to be a fully loaded image viewer like Gwenview or Kuickshow. While users may suggest features or report bugs found, there should be no expectation of additional features or a top-notch image viewer.
Installation is pretty straightforward, just untar the archive and call "qmake && make". Copy the binary "kgliv" to any directory in your $PATH environment, e.g. /usr/bin, to allow for easier access from anywhere. Usage involves calling "kgliv [imagepath] [another imagepath]" or "kgliv *" to display any image in the current directory. The viewer widget supports key combinations such as rotating around the X, Y, and Z axis and scaling to marked points.
As for new features, the release includes boxblurring via pbuffer (Qt4 only), a tunnel effect, and shader support called Hello GLSL. It's worth noting that the inversion support on non-shader using systems may be affected. If you desire more from the library or have identified a bug, please feel free to contact me. Additionally, I will probably write a simple script interpreter for a diashow.
