LikeBasic

I recently had the opportunity to test out LikeBasic, a basic-like script language that can be used with a variety of applications. One thing I found really useful about this software is its automatic typing system - no definition needed! Plus, it's easy to extend by using .NET class libraries.

Another great aspect of LikeBasic is that it can be easily integrated into a host application, simply by adding components to the form. And even if you're not a programmer, there's an included LikeBasicConsole application that allows you to use the script engine without any programming. The C# source code for this application is included, along with standard libraries in source code form.

While LikeBasic is similar to traditional Basic, its flexible typing system sets it apart, and there are no Goto commands. Programmers can use functional programming, with the option for local variables. Plus, recursive function calls are a breeze with LikeBasic!

Overall, I found LikeBasic to be an intuitive, useful software that's especially great for those already familiar with basic language. The manual even includes a few samples of using LikeBasic with a host application. Highly recommend giving it a try!
