This software facilitates panel schedules and feeder load calculations for both commercial occupancies and dwellings. Additionally, it generates panelboard directories in two different sizes, 4x6 inch and 6x8 inch, to be printed and placed inside panelboard doors or covers.

Panel Schedules can be easily created using Loadcalc 2017, and it supports both single and three phase schedules for commercial or residential properties. Load calculations and demand factoring are done according to occupancy type, ensuring that your calculations are accurate and efficient.
Service/feeder load calculations for single dwelling units can also be performed using Loadcalc 2017. The software supports various calculation methods, including the Standard Calculation Method (NEC Article 220), Optional Calculation Method (NEC Article 220-30), and Additional Loads in Existing Dwelling Units Calculation Method (NEC Article 220-31). The software is capable of calculating net computed load in VA and amperes, as well as determining the total service entrance load.
Loadcalc 2017 can also create panelboard directories, which are crucial for keeping track of electrical connections and ensuring that everything is organized and easily accessible. Standard Calculation Method Demand Factoring is supported for General Lighting, Small Appliance and Laundry Loads, Cooktop, Range, Wall Oven, Fixed Appliances, and Largest Motor Load.
Optional Calculation Method Demand factoring of 'other loads' can be done as per NEC 220-30, and you can input heating system type as per NEC Table 220-30, automatically determining the larger of heating or cooling load. Additional Loads In Existing Dwelling Units provides load calculations for existing dwelling units that are currently served by a 120/240 volt or 120/208Y service.
Quick Reference Tables From The NEC can be easily viewed on the screen or printed. The software also provides the option to save individual data files for later recall and specify default data directory. You can input up to four lines of data, which will print at the top of the report for easy identification.
With Loadcalc 2017, you can preview reports on the screen and make necessary adjustments before printing. The software produces professional, detailed reports that are easy to read and understand. Overall, Loadcalc 2017 is an indispensable tool for anyone involved in the electrical industry, providing accurate calculations and saving valuable time.
