Multiplayer Hakka Cards

Hakka Cards is a trick-taking game for 4 players that has a fascinating history. The game dates back to the Ming Dynasty in China, with cards featuring four suits: Sup, Gon, Zok, and Sin. Each suit has nine cards, numbered 1 to 9, and there's a special card called "Wan Sin" that has a value of 1 but doesn't belong to any suit.

The game's objective is to win a minimum of 6 tricks to score points. Hakka Cards has four phases: Dealing, Calling, Playing, and Scoring. During the playing phase, players should form patterns like Run, Set, and Single Card. A Run consists of 3 or more cards of consecutive numbers of the same suit, while a Set is 3 or more cards of the same number. The Single Card pattern requires playing a card of the highest ranking suit.

One important aspect to note is that some cards, called Elder Cards, can change and become unbeatable. Players should also know that they must play a Non-Elder card before playing an Elder card of the highest ranking suit. A player with the 1s of all suits and the Wan Sin becomes the winning player with eight tricks, earning four points.

The game has a random Dealer, and turns the player sitting opposite the Dealer to start during the Playing phase. Hakka Cards is an exciting game that combines strategy, luck, and Chinese history to keep players engaged and entertained.
