Choose your path in this game between playing it safe or attacking aggressively.

At the start of the game, you and your opponent will each be assigned a set of black or white pieces. The home board of black is located at the lower right region, while the home board of white is located at the upper right region. After rolling the dice to determine the turn order, the player with the highest number goes first.
During your turn, you'll click the button on the screen to roll the dice. The numbers you roll determine the number of steps you can take. For instance, if you roll a 3 and a 6, you can move a piece 3 steps forward and then move it again or move another piece 6 steps forward. If you roll a doublet, you can use each die twice and make 4 moves.
Note that you must complete your moves within the designated time limit, or you'll lose the game. If you have a column with only one opponent piece, you can move a piece above it to pin the opponent's piece. Pieces that are pinned cannot be moved until the pinning piece has left. You can't pin an opponent piece that's already pinning one of your pieces, and you can't move your pieces to a column that has 2 or more opponent pieces.
Once all pieces are moved to their home board, you can start removing them. The order of removal follows the numbers rolled from the dice. For instance, if you roll a double 1, you can remove two pieces that are 1 step from the goal. When all of the required numbers of steps of the remaining pieces are smaller than the rolled numbers, you can move pieces that are closer to the goal.
Overall, Tapa is a challenging and engaging board game that requires planning and critical thinking. If you're looking for a game that will test your strategic abilities, Tapa is definitely worth trying out.
