I recently installed a new extension and it has completely transformed the way I compose new messages. This extension automatically deletes the subject line whenever I compose a new message from a template, whether I double-click on it or open it from the context menu.
But wait, there's more! This extension also has a selective mode which allows me to delete only the subject line that starts with a specific character. This feature comes in handy when I want to keep the subject line for some messages but not for others.
To use this feature, all I have to do is set the specific character that I want to use to trigger the deletion of the subject line. This can be done easily by adjusting the pref "nosubject.fromtemplate.selectiveChar" - by default, this is set to "@".
