ORF Finder widget

The ORF Finder widget is a handy tool for those who deal with nucleic acid sequences. Using this widget is quite simple; all you need to do is type or paste your sequence and wait for the results to appear in a new browser window.

If you are a Safari user, downloading the widget is even easier. You just need to click the download link and wait for the process to complete. Afterward, simply show the dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar, and click the widget's icon to open it.

However, if you are using a browser other than Safari, you must follow a different process. Again, click the download link and wait for the widget to download. Once downloaded, you must unarchive it and place it in "/Library/Widgets/" in your home folder. Finally, show the dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar, and click the widget's icon to open it.
