Angry Birds Rio, a software developed by the creators of one of the most popular mobile games in recent years, is a new and exciting experience now available on Mac. Based on the storyline of the movie, Angry Birds Rio takes us to Rio de Janeiro where the original Angry Birds have been abducted and taken captive. With 60 levels divided into two different scenes, the developer promises to add more scenes throughout 2011.

The objective of Angry Birds Rio is to set the rare and exotic birds free by using a slingshot to launch the Angry Birds at the intricate structures and cages they're being held in. Additionally, players will be asked to crush chattering monkeys by hurling their birds at them - a great way to have some fun. When it comes to graphics, Angry Birds Rio is even better than the original game with more vibrant and cinematic appeal. The sound effects are also impressive, even though the charming oinks of the famous green pigs are missed.

As for gameplay, Angry Birds Rio doesn't differ all that much from the original game. Although it has new twists such as collectible fruits and new achievements, the basic concept of catapulting birds at structures remains the same.
